Infusion night was after school yesterday. Mason didn’t want me to sit with him after the poke—he’s growing up so fast. Such a strong, sweet boy. Dawson sat quietly nearby, watching and supporting in his own calm way. These boys are so kind to each other… at least, most of the time.
Afterwards, we went out to dinner, and just as we were leaving, the skies opened up. It was absolutely pouring. But honestly, it turned into one of those moments I’ll never forget. We ran to the car, soaked and laughing, and I popped the hatch so we could all pile in. I’m sure it was a sight—chaotic, wet, and full of joy. We were laughing hysterically, completely caught in the moment.
I say it all the time, but it’s those small, unexpected moments—the giggles, the smiles, even in the middle of a rainstorm—that stay with me the most. Just pure love in the chaos.
After the rainstorm, as we were driving home, Flowers came on the radio—and it was exactly the inspiration our hearts needed. Whether you’re walking through the deepest valley or standing on top of the highest mountain, remember this: God is with you. He’s planting seeds in the quiet moments, growing strength in the waiting, and walking beside you every step of the way. You are never alone—He is working, even when you can’t see it. Keep going. Keep believing. Beautiful things are blooming.
